ACTIVITY TIME!

How many of these items can you find around your house?  Give yourself one point for every artifact you find.  

• Birth certificate

• Baby book

• Family bible

• Obituary

• Newspaper clipping about a relative

• Wedding pictures

• Picture of your mom or dad as a child

• Picture of your grandpa or grandma as a child

• School project by your parents or an aunt or uncle

• Military uniform or discharge papers

• Baby outfit

• Funeral card

• Old postcards

• Letters your relatives wrote to each other

• Yearbook

• Scrapbook

• Quilt, needlework or clothing a relative made

• Toy that belonged to your parents or grandparents

• Jewelry that belonged to your grandparents

Scoring:

15-20 points:  WOW!  Amazing job!

8-15 points:  Great Work!

1-7 points:  Are you sure you found everything?

Even when you have finished writing your story, that doesn't mean you are finished.  There are still many things we need to do before we are truly at THE END.
